This movie was nothing short of amazing. The storytelling, the surrealistic action, and the camera work was pretty unique; put all this together and this movie was just awesome. 85% on Rotten Tomatoes, if anyone goes to movies based off of them.
Personally, I loved it. I'd pay to go see it many more times, and buy it on Blu-Ray, twice. Why twice? Because it's just that awesome of a movie.

Im sorry, but I kinda disliked this movie...sure, I loved the storyline of them getting powers, and how they got their powers leaves it open to any guess.
However, the main character was emo as fuck! >.> Sure, I understand if you get beat by your dad, you may have some anger issues, but raise above it fucktard, don't go all crazy because you can (That would be like me making a Kill all Players verb and using it every few minutes)
Really, I wish the story would have been about Matt and not Andrew, whiny little bitch. I couldnt connect to Andrew at all, sure I was whimpy when I was a kid aswell and got semi-picked on, but as soon as I went into Highschool I turned that shit around, I didn't put my emoness to picking on others.
Another thing is I disliked the Camera thing...I feel like I missed part of the story, of what was going on.

I haven't seen the movie yet, but I'm assuming the black guy dies first? [~SPOILER~He actually doesn't die first in the movie... and LOL @ Evolution ref, intentional or not. He is the first to die of the trio of friends though. @matt I could relate to Andrew a little, as if I got superpowers I would rape the fuck outta everyone with them. Not because I have anger issues... but because I could. LOL... also I think the severeness of the abuse at home, his mother's death (whom he viewed as the only person to genuine care about him, combine with his loss of control of his power which resulted in killing his best friend, all culminated into his ultimate transformation into a Super Villain. Though I agree Matt was probably the smartest of the 3, he was a puss, and unworthy of being the main plot character, though I liked that he made an executive decision at the end. Also he was seemingly the weakest of the 3, lacking proper control over new things like Steve and Andrew. As someone that was abused by my father similarly to Andrew was, I know how helpless you can feel and how fractured your mind can get because of it lol, that's probably why I liked his character. P.S. Steve was my favorite, sad how he died LOL damn it [~END SPOILER~

It was a good movie. Best Char ( Black Guy) Dies 1st trying to be friendly to Andrew QQ. There should have been more action. And as Matt said, i also disliked the camera view of the movie, i get that it played a big role in the movie but still, c'mon -_-. I didn't expect Andrew to die like that, a steel pole stop sign to the heart. The movie should have ended with a fus ro dah :/ And With great power comes a great electricity bill

Been saw it, was disappointed. I'm not saying it was a bad movie, but my expectation level was higher than what was delivered (of course, I'm the only one to blame for that); I'd see it's decent, not necessarily a must-see, but part of that is due to nostalgia (we always love seeing super-powers, that we ourselves covet, in action). But by all means, view it and conjure your own opinion.

I didn't expect Andrew to die like that, a steel pole stop sign to the heart. The movie should have ended with a fus ro dah :/ And With great power comes a great electricity bill It's a movie shot in a "found footage" style. A homage to the title it is a Chronicle, events found from the camera in Tibet. They were more creative than other found footage films, using Andrew's telekinesis to add more cinematic scenes, and cutting to other cameras at various places (the hospital and the police cams). It stays true the the concepts of showing that not everyone who gets superpowers is destined to be great, a lot will fall. Another one is that when given true power, what are you really capable of? I think it shows a good outcome of that. Kazuki, watch it again. It wasn't a stop sign, it was the spear from the statue behind Andrew. I think it was a good plot element to kill Steve at that point, even though I'm black, I understand that it was the best decision because it forces Matt to stop being a bitch and do what he has to at the end. Also because of their blood ties, it adds greater depth to the decision Matt is forced to make. @kyuubi, yeah. I made sure I went into this movie with little expectation, because I also noticed the trend that everytime I went into a movie with very high expectations I ended up disappointed.
