It was a good movie. Best Char ( Black Guy) Dies 1st trying to be friendly to Andrew QQ. There should have been more action. And as Matt said, i also disliked the camera view of the movie, i get that it played a big role in the movie but still, c'mon -_-. I didn't expect Andrew to die like that, a steel pole stop sign to the heart. The movie should have ended with a fus ro dah :/
And With great power comes a great electricity bill
It's a movie shot in a "found footage" style. A homage to the title it is a Chronicle, events found from the camera in Tibet. They were more creative than other found footage films, using Andrew's telekinesis to add more cinematic scenes, and cutting to other cameras at various places (the hospital and the police cams).
It stays true the the concepts of showing that not everyone who gets superpowers is destined to be great, a lot will fall. Another one is that when given true power, what are you really capable of? I think it shows a good outcome of that.
Kazuki, watch it again. It wasn't a stop sign, it was the spear from the statue behind Andrew. I think it was a good plot element to kill Steve at that point, even though I'm black, I understand that it was the best decision because it forces Matt to stop being a bitch and do what he has to at the end. Also because of their blood ties, it adds greater depth to the decision Matt is forced to make.
@kyuubi, yeah. I made sure I went into this movie with little expectation, because I also noticed the trend that everytime I went into a movie with very high expectations I ended up disappointed.
The movie would have still been a lot better imo if they hadn't had that camera restriction .-. also seems kinda unrealistic that Andrew would take that thing wherever he went.
