First off before I begin I'd like to say that I owe roughly half of what has been stated in this guide to my first true master, Reddeye. He was the first to recognize my resolve to change things on NTFB and do good on behalf of not just Konoha but the entire ninja world. Reddeye-sensei, we miss ya..
NOTE: Genjutsu is being covered in it's own guide. (Yes, THAT'S HOW BIG OF AN ISSUE IT IS CURRENTLY)
Introduction: So, you wish to improve your fighting skills, do you?
Well look no further because Sasume's here to help you out with my first official combat guide. This guide will cover roughly everything from basic macro set-ups for simple fighting, to advanced combo's & strategies used by yours truly. That having been said, there are some things I ought to mention before we begin. This guide is for Combat knowledge and combat knowledge alone. There will be no clan builds nor jutsu requirements aside from the basics shown. Now, let us begin. These first few chapters have been written to apply to newer players, yet if your an oldie who's looking for a better macro setup, then by all means read on. If not & you already have your macros as you want them, skip ahead to chapter 3.
Chapter 4: Clones (W.I.P)
Alright, so, having covered Taijutsu basics I do believe now it's time to go into possibly one of the most underrated jutsus out there: Clone techniques. Now, with the changes to clones of recent they can auto-attack on their own free will. I've recently discovered that Clone AI is similar to Edo Tensei AI, hence sad to say (at least imo) this removed a lot of the skill needed for utilizing clones properly. Despite this I'm still intending to use clones myself since I always enjoyed the way one had to utilize them. If timed right a clone can CERTAINLY be used to dodge respective skillshots. As far as all the remaining tricks and tips I'm actually forced to say simply follow the rest of the guide in terms of anticipation and monitoring your chakra levels.
Since the general mechanics behind clones have been simplified I'll go ahead and conclude chapter four.
Chapter 5: Ninjutsu, a Guide of how to Zone, Nuke, & Combo
All clans, regardless of the specialties (except Taijutsu Experts) have some form of Ninjutsu. Now some say that if you don't put any points in Nin then it's useless to use it; I however spit on that statement! Ninjutsu is one of the most versatile array of techniques in a Shinobi's arsenal even if the player in particular has no invested points into it. This point can be proven by two simple methods, Zoning & Combo'ing. So, allow me to define what both of these terms actually mean & how they're applied.
Zoning: When a Ninja uses a jutsu to force the enemy into a particular are or "zone" of the visible or non visible area of the screen. This can be further explained with a simple scenario;
Sasume vs Mello
Sasume uses Gouryuuka to force Mello to dodge to the side of the jutsu, whichever side he dodges on Sasume can follow-up by throwing his Knuckle Knives at the point where Mello will be. Sasume has attempted to zone Mello with his Goryuuka so that he can land his stronger jutsu, Suiranreppuu (Knife Throw)
Upsides to Zoning: You can control the battlefield, and potentially the flow of the fight itself, as long as you have a decent sense of prediction as well as the necessary chakra reserves to do so.
Downsides to Zoning: Slightly more chakra expansion then usual and on more experienced players it's difficult to seize control of the battlefield to be able to zone to begin with.
At this point I'll go over proper and improper methods of nuking as well as touch a little on combo'ing. Firstly let's take a look at the term nuke when we separate it from the context of the guide. To nuke something is to do as much damage as possible with one jutsu at the expanse of a large cooldown and quite decent chakra cost. To better illustrate the concept I've provided a scenario to demonstrate both the proper and improper ways to nuke (Note: The improper way is effective, yes, but your personal reputation will be lessened the more you use it;
Sasume vs Riku (Properly done)
Sasume uses his combination jutsu with Fuuton -Daitoppa as the Initial, Katon - Housenka as Link 1, and Fuuton - Suiranreppuu as Link 2.
Riku gets blown back by the wind, unless he tries to fight it he'll take full damage from the wind in addition to the Housenka assuming Sasume landed it in the center. (Combined Damage (assuming all Housenka shots hit & all Daitoppa flows hit); 37k
The 3rd part of the combo comes into play through the knife throw. Sasume can either use it to zone Riku into taking the full damage of the two pure ninjutsu, OR, can throw the knife down the center to ensure Riku takes the 22k from both hits of the throw. (Been a while since I checked my numbers so let me know if I'm off.)
So in summary that's 37k from the first section, and if Sasume were to decide to throw for damage and not to zone, 22k, that's a grand total of 59k which is an astounding damage output for a balanced fighter.
Riku vs Sasume (Improperly Done)
Riku uses Chidori Eisou (6 tile range) and Stuns Sasume
Riku chain macros Housenka & Gouryuuka (total damage 75k thus far, eisou hurts more then ppl think)
This method is effective yes, and the damage output is stronger then my own, HOWEVER; this method is known as Stun-Blitzing, and is highly frowned upon by the community. Raiton is a good element to have yes, BUT, it can be used wisely and honorably too (I think once more actual Raiton jutsu aside from chidori variants are in the game the element itself will get a better reputation)
One thing to always note when using ANY Ninjutsu method is the chakra cost of the jutsu itself. Without chakra even basic evasion becomes difficult, you won't be able to break out of Genjutsu with Kai (Or even Uchiha Reversal), and finally if you're ninjutsu based you won't be able to answer to your opponents techniques.
I've tried my best to explain both nuking and combo'ing in one go here, so I do believe that concludes chapter 5. Ninjutsu was never a huge specialty of mine so I might update this chapter a little more once the game returns.
Chapter 6: Advanced Steps for more Experienced Players
Alright so you've been here a year or two and have the basics down solidly , maybe made a few tournament appearances, and fought against some of the big names (Mello, Lazaro, CoolStoryBro, Myself, Sefirosu (if you're lucky enough to encounter him), Zezu, Ichiru, Takarev, to name a few.) You're probably looking to take your game to the next level and truly show people that you have the drive to become truly strong! I'll admit I'm actually not that decent at PvP with my current style of build, however I do have knowledge of fighting, and that's half the battle. These steps I'm going to list are what you can do as both a person and player to better improve yourself;
1. Get good amounts of sleep. This step may seem strange yet I can't recall how many times I've stayed up playing NTFB only to see my reaction time worsen as I approached the 5am mark. Sleep is essential for our brains and nervous systems, but most importantly it allows your muscles to relax and recuperate. I've done some digging at my college and you'd be immensely surprised at all the effort that goes into playing computer games from a muscular standpoint.
2. Make friends, not foes. NTFB is a fun game, but if you have the playerbase on your back and viewing you in a negative light then it can become a horrendous experience at times. Firstly, I'm not bashing anyone nor any aspect of the playerbase. Secondly, the in-game community is amazing yet like all communities you need to think your actions through before doing them. Have common sense about how you conduct yourself and you'll get along fine (I speak from experience, I know that some of the vets and myself still see things differently, and that is my fault alone.)
3. Know your jutsu cooldowns! (Refer to my Jutsu Encyclopedia once it's created) I can't stress how important this is!! Using jutsu can be viewed as one of two things depending on what kind of player you are, near-sighted or far-sighted. I don't mean this in the traditional sense either. A near-sighted player will see a jutsu and think "I need to dodge this" and just that. A far-sighted player will think "I WILL dodge this, counter-strike, and keep my wits about me in the time frame that I have to act before the next jutsu." In the long run it's good to be a far-sighted player since you'll view the battlefield similar to a Play, each Act (part of the fight) has scenes (jutsu) that help progress it, each scene has lines(train of thought) that go into each scene.
4. Know that Rank isn't everything. People still will acknowledge you despite not having an actual rank of any means. I learned this lesson personally throughout the months that the game was down, and I realize now that if I'd learned it sooner I could've prevented an entire war with the help of my friends...so trust me, don't be like I used to be and think that if you get a high rank people will finally listen to you. It isn't worth destroying yourself to get that acknowledgement. (If any of the oldies reading this are curious, I speak of the incident which cost me my Kageship along with the respect & trust of Gillz when Kazuki killed me)
5. Finally, and honestly, the best tip I can offer is simply be yourself! Once again it's a lesson I learned the hard way before the game went down for the 3.0 Update, I tried to fill the shoes of every impactful naruto character and it destroyed me from the inside out, I went days without sleep at times and questioned who I really was. I'd quote Itachi all the time but never agree with any of his ideologies except for one; those who cannot acknowledge what they can and can't do will inevitably fail. Well, I failed. I failed so many times I can't even begin to count them. I drove away friends and even someone who helped train me in the beginning all because I wanted players to acknowledge me, yet in doing so I destroyed my own reputation to an extent. Once more, just be yourself. You don't have to be a leader, you don't have to be just a cog in the machine either, find what fits you best and pursue it with a strong will and kind heart, and good things will come!
This concludes chapter 6.
Chapter 7: Fighting the Byakugan
The Byakugan is one of the Leaf villages most dangerous bloodline limits. The stat damage might not be a threat in and of itself, yet the utility this eye provides is borderline insane. 5% dodge rating increase, clone detection, enhanced screen size, chakra shaving through palms, the brief stun palms provides for your allies to use jutsu. If there is one kind of Doujutsu that works best in a team environment it is hands down the Byakugan, that I firmly believe. So how does one fight this kind of eye? Firstly let's assume that we're talking a 1v1 match. Next up the trick to the byakugan is simply staying in motion. No I don't mean running, what I mean is dancing around them using diags. This largely depends on how skilled the player is mechanically, so I'll use a scenario from a Hyuugas p.o.v
Hyuuga vs Non-Clan (No Kamui or Izanagi)
Mindset of the Hyuuga: "I need to get him into palm range while at the same time dodging his techniques, my best bet is to wait for a chance to shunshin to him when he uses a jutsu that keeps him stationary for an instant."
Mindset of the Non-Clan: I just have to keep throwing jutsu and let him waste his chakra, once that's done with I can get close without fear of his eyes."
It's a simple concept yet there are some drawbacks, a Hyuuga who knows the weakness of their eyes will surely find a way around it, and of course a Hyuuga isn't solely dependent on their byakugan to fight.
I'll admit I'm not the biggest expert on how the Hyuuga fight so I had to make this chapter a little short, might call in an expert later if need be tho for an update to this chapter.
This concludes chapter 7.
Chapter 8: Fighting the Rinnegan
First off if it's a matter of a life or death fight I suggest you try negotiations as you fight, since battling this eye is EXTREMELY difficult even for veterans, in fact the only doujutsu in-game that I think has the slight advantage over the Rinnegan is EMS. If it's a tournament fight then simply try your best and use these tips.
1. The interval between Shinra Tensei and Banshou Tein is exactly 5 seconds. These flash across the users screen once the jutsu is used, now keep in mind Shinra Tensei can be used to block projectiles as well as keep tai users away. At the moment it dose no damage yet I hope that would be fixed (hint; as a trade-off UP THE CHAKRA COST)
2. 2 of the Path abilities currently don't work (Soul Pull & Summoning) so the main threat here is the Asura Path (Missiles) These things HURT and can be used in a multitude of different ways. When fighting a missile user ALWAYS keep your guard up and expect the unexpected.
3. Regardless of what Path they use, all Rinnegan jutsu take up pretty hefty amounts of chakra already, it might be best to keep your distance and play a bit of a waiting game if they're in the habit of spamming things.
4. If the fight is happening from a villager point of view, call your allies over Village Say. I'm normally not one to suggest this yet teaming up on someone with Rinnegan sometimes is a must if they've got mechanics to make good use of the eye.
5. Finally, no matter what, AVOID THE MISSILE BARRAGE SKILL. This skill will take you from 100 to 30% HP NO PROBLEM. If you must get hit by it then kawa the last one if you can time it right to reduce as much damage as possible.
This concludes chapter 8
Chapter 9: Fighting the Sharingan
This chapter was a fun one to write and hopefully this might help people understand that Uchiha really aren't all that they're cracked up to be (sorry guys, but it's true XD) The sharingan is a dangerous doujutsu that allows for almost complete superiority in a 1v1 situation unless certain things are done.
1. Exhaust the chakra of the opponent. Uchiha are tremendously chakra reliant to maintain the sharingan, in fact it's a weakness that not too many take advantage of.
2. When we activate our Sharingan there is a half minute delay between activation and reversion. If we're running low on chakra it's sometimes best to switch it off to conserve chakra for kawa, yet it's at that time you can catch us in a screen obscuring genjutsu or use clones & mix yourselves up.
3. Keep in mind the above tricks won't always work on someone with a tactical mind like many of the well-known Uchihas have. If you find yourself up against one of these people then simply try your best, that's honestly all the advice I have to offer.
4. If every method you can think of fails, simply call for backup. Unless the Uchiha has Gouka Mekkakyuu they'll be hard pressed to fight multiple opponents at once.
5. If it's a 1v1 situation, always try and anticipate their moves as best you can. Uchiha thrive in situations where they can overpower and overwhelm their enemy quickly, since a super long battle isn't favorable to most of us.
That having been said I do believe this concludes chapter 9
Chapter 10: Anticipate, Anticipate, Anticipate!
Throughout all my time on NTFB, one thing has remained the same in all fighting styles no matter how you distribute your stat points/what you train on/who you learn from/etc that is ALWAYS try to anticipate the enemies movements. If you aren't actively using your mind in battle then what good is it to be at the level cap with fully invested stats and have powerful jutsu?? Reddeye-sensei always said "the shinobi who acts first, dies first. The shinobi who thinks first, dies last" I've went ahead and provided a few scenarios below to better illustrate what I mean by the word anticipate.
Sasume vs Reddeye (without use of anticipation)
Sasume charges in and uses houseka blindly hoping that reddeye gets hit
Reddeye sidesteps, diag crosses back to his original spot and stands there.
*At this point since Sasume didn't think about his next move reddeye can simply stand there and wait for him to act before reacting. Displaying this style of linear attack will only result in expanded chakra and frustration on Sasume's part*
Reddeye continues to sidestep and dodge all of Sasumes attacks slowly walking around in a circle, he uses a kawa to get behind Sasume then strikes him twice with a taijutsu blow and a starting housenka combo.
*Since Sasume had expanded so much chakra prior simply firing off random things and hoping they'd hit, Reddeye was given the luxury of being able to dance around the attacks and wait for the exhaustion point to creep in.*
Sasume vs Reddeye (with anticipation)
Sasume throws shuriken in two seperate tiles flying forward, reddeye dodges to the side only to walk into the path of Sasumes knife-throw. Upon kawa'ing the hit Reddeye is back in his original spot 3 tiles over.
Sasume had moved almost a millisecond after throwing the knife and awaited the return of the knife since it's a 7-tile long throw that returns to the user. Reddeye notices this too yet it's slightly late since Sasume ran up to him to shorten the duration of the knife throw.
Now, from a users point of view, can you tell what was different from a mental standpoint?? Sasume never stopped trying to force reddeye to get into a certain position by use of jutsu. This seems similar to simple Zoning yet using anticipation can set up entire battles in advance if used properly. Now of course not everyone has to be a tactician and plan their battles in advance, yet at the same time a little thought never hurt anyone.
So the next time you're fighting someone strong always think "How are they trying to get me to move, act, or think? What does this jutsu MEAN? They used that here and then backed off some, they don't want me getting close...it must be on cooldown.." Anticipation is the key to having a non-stressful battle, and honestly it's what makes the game fun at times too. Now I'm not condemning improvising, there ARE some foes out there where the conventional ways of battle simply won't work on (Sefirosu, Lazaro, Kain, Takarev, Nakamura, Tidus, Noshi, Ichiru, Zezu, & Myself to name a few) only because we have the experience to realize when we're being anticipated and change up our strategy, so improvising can often work out at least semi-decently.
Thus concludes chapter 10
Final Chapter: Fighting the hidden shit/EMS
****Before we get into it I want to do a quick disclaimer; NOTHING in this section entails HOW to acquire hidden shit/EMS, purely on how to fight it. There are no textual clues or hidden arrangements, my personal opinion thrown in I'd actually prefer it if people DIDN'T go Uchiha so often since diversity OP'ed.****
I'd like to congratulate you if you've found yourself needing to read this section of the guide. The Mangekyou isn't really meant for everyday fights, so if an Uchiha uses this on you it's most likely because they've deemed you that big a threat. That having been said, since there are 3 primary abilities that the hidden shit yields I will simply describe how to fight all 3 and exclude Kamui (will be covered in a separate guide eventually.)
1. Tsukuyomi: This ability is my favorite since depending on what Genjutsu you want to use the effect changes, making it easier or more difficult for the enemy to break out of. Simply fight this method like any other genjutsu, yet if it's a 1v1 situation simply wait for yourself to be hit once (it can't be Kai'ed out of) and have kawa ready to dodge the rest of the damage.
2. Amaterasu: A very tricky ability to get around, if you see the flames ignite on a spot just keep moving around and try to avoid them as best you can. Amaterasu takes up a CATASTROPHIC amount of chakra so it's difficult to accomplish anything meaningful with it unless the Uchiha is using it to zone. In that case be VERY careful about where their setting it up at. Keep in mind that Amaterasu can also be used as a defense to stop close combat fighters.
3. Susanoo: Do I feel sorry for the fellow who is being pursued by an Uchiha with Susanoo active....this thing will HURT you no matter what it manages to land, yet all Susanoo have a health drawback usually. Simply focus around dodging the users attacks and countering with anything that could obstruct vision, sharingan is still sharingan yes, but all the same anything that slows them down is worth using. A fight with Susanoo is a fight against time.
In Conclusion
Alright then it seems like everything is wrapped up! This has been my first complete guide in a good while, hopefully it helps any newer players I've managed to direct to the forums and even refresh some of us oldies while its at it. I hope you've enjoyed the guide and feel free to ask me any questions come 3.0's release, I'll be more then happy to help anyone who inquires.
Until we meet again my friends,
Sasume Uchiha.

If not & you already have your macros as you want them, skip ahead to chapter 3.
Chapter 1: Macros & You
So, if you're like me when I first started and completely new to Byond, you're probably wondering what the duce a macro is. If you go to the top left of your screen when you're logged in the game and right click it a options window will open with Macros as a selection. Click that then you'll be taken to a small box that right now has nothing in it. At the bottom you should see a "New Macro" clickable box, hit that then it'll take you to the Key Binding screen. To bind a command to a key simply type in the Verb name where it says "Command" (I.E Attack) However you set things up is ultimately up to you, yet I found that this layout is best;
A = Attack, S = Kawarimi (Substitution), D = Your Signature Move, F = Ultimate Attack (Yes, that's right. If you're going to become good then you've gotta have a Signature Move & an Ultimate Attack. I'd recommend jutsu that truly speaks from your heart when they're displayed, since as we all know "When two shinobi are of a high enough level, they can read each others mind simply by coming to blows." The mind in turn reflects what's in the heart sometimes.)
Now, I also have what I consider an Ultimate Attack (for me it's always one of two things: Tsukuyomi or Fuuton Suuiranreppu (Knife Throw when using Hein) ) This goes on my F key since it's right in the easy line of A,S,D & F. Hence it's simple to quickly get your finger to it. Now directly above that I have the following layout;
Q = Jutsu 1 (Small Chakra Cost), W = Jutsu 2 (Medium Chakra Cost), E = Jutsu 3 (Large Chakra Cost), R = Combination Ninjutsu, T = Shunshin toggle.
This layout is the way it is because first off I'm a League of Legends player so these keys are naturally familiar to me, however it's also nice to have your main offensive macros close to your basics ones since that way you don't have to stretch your finger far and remember "wait what macro is where again...." With this it's a simple sandwich layout, the final layer of said sandwich being below us.
Z = Shousen Jutsu (If you get lucky and get it), X = Raigen Rochaku/Kyokuang (Flash Pillar/Infinite Darkness (These are obtained at 5k Gen (( Must have Raiton for Flash Pillar)) ), C = Bunshin Bakuha (Exploding Clone)
This row of keys represents my Utility macros. These are the jutsu used to either help a friend or cripple an enemy. I had to use my personal set in this case since I honestly didn't come up with a way on how to describe Utility based macros. On that note this hereby concludes chapter 1.

Chapter 2: Learn your Favorite Jutsu.
Each player in NTFB has a jutsu that they call their own. Something they've taken months upon months upon MONTHS to practice with and develop almost like a 7th sense towards. Since I don't want to tread on anyone's toes here, I'll use myself as an example. My favorite jutsu in the entire game is by far Itachi Uchiha's Crow genjutsu, Utakata. When finding your favorite jutsu you need to have a reason for calling it your favorite, allow me to share mine.
It was the First Great Ninja World War on the game a decent amount of years ago, I was fighting alongside my friend Nakamura at the Konoha gates against a Puppet Master and a Konan. Naka was handling the PM with his Kage Kubi Shibari & I was left to deal with the Konan. These weren't veteran players we were facing, yet at the time I myself really hadn't fought anyone seriously, I had only been focused on training & mastering the Uchiha clan. This meant I was horribly unskilled at fighting at that time. The konan kept sending their papers after me, I had to use kawa to get out, luckily I found an opening to use Shunshin (since at the time it had no CD) and accidentally clicked the macro for Utakata when I meant to use Goryuuka. You see master Reddeye had been training me to use Utakata during combat against non-doujutsu wielding clans, this would come in handy especially against any click clans (Konan, Deidara, a random clone user by chance.) The Konan started freaking out at the screen, I could tell since the way he shifted his papers was completely random now instead of focused and targeted like before. That gave me the chance to use Kage Bunshin , make a Rasengan, and finish him off. (Yes...back then I was a rasengan nub on special occasions, however, to be fair to them ,I did it the Naruto style and made a clone first THEN used rasengan to give them time.) After the fight concluded the Konan asked me what that jutsu was that made his screen get blacked out with crows in sections. I myself couldn't answer. I went to master Reddeye and he used Utakata on me. I realized then and there that this jutsu was perfect for me not only because the way it looked, but also because of what it does in terms of disorienting the screen.
Now, finding your favorite jutsu isn't just about finding a jutsu that looks cool, it's about finding something that speaks from your heart and tells the enemy "This is who I am, this is what I fight for. I will not cease fighting until I win (or in my case protect what must be protected)
My tale being done, whether it is situational or you find it in an experiment with a newly learned jutsu one day, always try and strive for that favorite jutsu, and when you do, perfect it. This concludes chapter 2.
Chapter 3: Let the Fists Fly! Taijutsu of all Levels.
Taijutsu is a essential for every shinobi no matter how much of a Nin (or god forbid Gen) whore you claim to be. Some times there isn't a better solution then a right hook in the chops to knock some sense into a raider or to win a fight to prove something. All be it I wish there was a K.O System in place and not just if you punch someone hard enough they die..yet that's a rant for another suggestion. I've been asked several questions regarding how Taijutsu leads to a better fighter overall, so hopefully in this next section I'll answer those. It isn't often I do Pros/Cons (If you solely rely on Taijutsu alone there are cons, big ones at that.) so I apologize in advance if there might be confusion.
Pros for Good Taijutsu Skills:
Cons for Abusive Taijutsu:
Having Taijutsu is best in your arsenal for the Chuunin exams seeing as how if you do have Ninjutsu the damage probably won't be sufficient enough to maintain a constant firing rate (since your chakra isn't that high at genin/chuunin levels.)
Now, fighting using Taijutsu is a simple matter. Let's say that you've followed the basic combat layout of macros listed in Chapter 1, you've got Attack, Kawa, & your Signature Tch. at the ready, now all that's left to do is time your attacks properly so they'll hit the enemy. (This is something that's very hard to master, even I myself am still working on my timing each and every day.) Advanced timing will be covered in Chapter 10 & touched on slightly in Chapter 6, so for now this concludes Chapter 3.
It was the First Great Ninja World War on the game a decent amount of years ago, I was fighting alongside my friend Nakamura at the Konoha gates against a Puppet Master and a Konan. The Konan started freaking out at the screen, I could tell since the way he shifted his papers was completely random now instead of focused and targeted like before.
- Your Punches will do decent damage + in some cases you'll be able to learn a Taijutsu Style with a certain amount of Tai.
- You'll be able to hold your own without worrying about loss of chakra due to spamming jutsu (since in a tai fight the only jutsu you should worry about spamming is Kawarimi)
- Having good hand to hand skills gains respect (at least by me) and by a decent portion of the community. Respect is always nice.
Cons for Abusive Taijutsu:
- What good is hitting hard if you can't punch through a shield? (Juugo, Yuki, Jiongu, Aburame are a few clans that have shields)
- With no ninjutsu to use for long/mid ranged attacks, you'll always have to be close to the enemy. What if they nuke you with a point-blank OP Ninjutsu that even kawa can't completely dodge?? (or if your kawa is on cooldown)
- The Kaguya clan has an armor called Karamatsu. This armor allows for them to deal a combined portion of your tai and their tai to you upon even running into them....more tai on your part = more damage.
- If the opponent is a Runner and you just can't seem to get close to them how do you intend to beat them as a pure tai user?
- If you're by chance a Lee, true you have Gates & Buyou to get close, yet at the same time each technique you use costs stamina. The gates themselves drain health, so I would only use them if the enemy is listed as A Rank or above. (Refer to my NTFB Player Databook Thread)
Zoning: When a Ninja uses a jutsu to force the enemy into a particular are or "zone" of the visible or non visible area of the screen. This can be further explained with a simple scenario;
At this point I'll go over proper and improper methods of nuking as well as touch a little on combo'ing. Firstly let's take a look at the term nuke when we separate it from the context of the guide. To nuke something is to do as much damage as possible with one jutsu at the expanse of a large cooldown and quite decent chakra cost. To better illustrate the concept I've provided a scenario to demonstrate both the proper and improper ways to nuke (Note: The improper way is effective, yes, but your personal reputation will be lessened the more you use it;
Sasume vs Riku (Properly done)
Alright so you've been here a year or two and have the basics down solidly , maybe made a few tournament appearances, and fought against some of the big names (Mello, Lazaro, CoolStoryBro, Myself, Sefirosu (if you're lucky enough to encounter him), Zezu, Ichiru, Takarev, to name a few.) You're probably looking to take your game to the next level and truly show people that you have the drive to become truly strong! I'll admit I'm actually not that decent at PvP with my current style of build, however I do have knowledge of fighting, and that's half the battle. These steps I'm going to list are what you can do as both a person and player to better improve yourself;
