Listen up maggots! So you think you have what it takes to become a Hozuki? The Poseidon of Kirigakure? The Tropical Storm? If so then here are a few tips for you!
Basic Build: Whore Ninjutsu...that's pretty much it. As I've said before the Hozuki clan techniques are pretty dependent on it, so you can't really go wrong with this build.
Death From Afar: An interesting build that I've been meaning to try out myself. This build requires the basic progression of Ninjutsu, but also that of the Speed stat and Throwing Skill. What you'll need to do is first invest 10,000 of your skill points into Ninjutsu early on in your character's development. (This is mostly for self defense.) After you've done so proceed to invest the next 10,000 or more of your skill points into the Speed stat, finish that, and then move on to throw training. It should be noted that once you've begun training your TS this may slow down your training since TS training no longer provides the gain in levels. This form of training should probably be considered later on in your character's development. The speed stat will increase your dodge rating and damage out-put for projectile weapons, and combined with the Suika-No-Jutsu technique this makes a Hozuki very difficult to hit in melee. This build is quite deadly when used with a Hozuki considering their stealth, evasiveness with the hydration technique, and experience with long-range combat; however it's the most expensive build therefore difficult to maintain. (Not recommended for beginners)
Mixed Fighter: First you will want to invest 20,000 of your skill points into nin for the beginning of your character. (I suggest Nin since most of the techniques you will be receiving early on are dependent on it. ) After you've accomplished that then go ahead and invest the next 10,000 into your Taijutsu. Once completed proceed to purchase a sword from any of the weapon merchants and begin training on the sword dummies until you've either capped your sword skill or reached a reasonable amount you find fit. (This will add on to your Taijutsu damage. So if your Taijutsu is 10k, Sword Skill 10k = Damage output 20k.) It should be noted that once you've begun training your SS this may slow down your training since SS training no longer provides the gain in levels. This form of training should probably be considered later on in your character's development.
This is the list of jutsu those of the Hozuki clan will learn. This is posted in numerical order.
Suika-no-Jutsu (水化の術,"Hydration Technique") (Level 100): This is one of the clan's most valuable assets. As said before this clan is renown for their use of this technique, as this jutsu allows for Hozukis to evade physical and even some projectile attacks upon being hit. With each use of this technique the user's hydration will go down by 5%. While in your liquid form just as you are unable to receive damage, you are also unable to inflict damage upon others until you've fully reformed into your solid state, but you are mobile and able to move about as you please. Like I mentioned earlier this is the skill that will make a Hozuki a most admirable foe in both long and short range combat.
Tips: It's best to remember that even with this skill--You are not invincible. Try to continue dodging attacks with your own effort instead of depending on Suika, because rapid Taijutsu will still manage to land hits, Area of Effect techniques are a definite hit, and so on. You can breathe easy around most projectile attacks however.
Mizudeppo-no-Jutsu (水鉄砲の術, Water Gun Technqique)(Level 500): The user mimics a fire-gun with their hand and, through the Hydration Technique, compresses an amount of water in their index finger, firing a drop with tremendous force and speed similar to a shot, enough to easily pierce through objects. This technique uses 10% of your hydration and 2500 of chakra and does damage 2x your current ninjutsu. This is a Hozuki's second most deadly skill.
(This jutsu is so fast I wasn't able to catch a screenshot for it at first.)
Tips: Spam the fuck out of it. (Lol not really.)As kick-ass as this move is...it's still a single tile shot which means that it's powerful, but not accurate. I would still recommend this move in combat.
Gosuiwan-no-Jutsu (水遁・豪水腕の術, Water Release: Great Water Arm Technique)(Level 1500): By putting the Hydration Technique into practical use, the muscles of the arm are temporarily enlarged and strengthened. Moisture is gathered from the whole body and compressed into the entire arm, like an instant pump-up. This technique increases your damage out-put for Taijutsu by 2/5th or .4x of your current stat and costs 10% of your hydration. (This will constantly drain chakra)
Tips: I don't really use it much, but you can if you want. This is more of an optional technique.
Jōki Bōi (蒸危暴威,Steaming Danger Tyranny)(Level 5000): This jutsu is cray-cray and will probably get you banned from playgrounds or parks.(Seriously this thing looks like a child molester) A clone made from water and oil is created which then chases down a nearby target, punching, and exploding for a large amount of damage. Joki Boi can only be activated when you have at least 50 % Hydration and it will drain you of all your hydration and chakra. While active you cannot rest or regain hydration thus leaving you very vulnerable. The clone is made an AI and punches for 1x your taijutsu and explodes for 2x your ninjutsu.
Tips: This jutsu is very resourceful during village raids, but unreliable when in a 1 vs 1 fight. Also you can release Joki Boi by clicking the jutsu again after a short time once the cool-down is over.
Well that's all for the Hozuki clan. Hopefully as time passes more updates will be made, but for now we must settle and be content with its foundation. I hope you've had a good read and this guide helped in some way or another. And remember...not only should you rep Hozuki, but also
Reddeye's Hozuki Guide
Listen up maggots! So you think you have what it takes to become a Hozuki? The Poseidon of Kirigakure? The Tropical Storm? If so then here are a few tips for you!
To Start You Off: Hozuki is a clan of ninja from Kirigakure or the Mist Village with the ability to liquefy their bodies. They do this by using the hydration technique. This technique requires that the Hozuki stays hydrated at all times. If the user's hydration reaches 0% then their techniques will be rendered useless, i.e, disabled until they've been hydrated. You can re-hydrate yourself by simply walking on or swimming in a body of water and your hydration will increase by 1% for each step you take.
This clan's elemental affinity is Suiton (水遁, Water Release). You won't receive any other elements during your gameplay. For more information on the Suiton Element visit Wagarashi's Suiton guide.

The Build: To be honest I haven't done much experimenting with different builds for this clan, but from my knowledge Hozuki are generally based around Ninjutsu, but of course, this does not limit them to said skill. They can be quite proficient (fancy way of saying annoying) in a close-ranged fight in either Taijutsu or Swords with a certain skill I shall soon introduce. To get the most out of this clan I suggest focusing on both, but if you aren't too well in melees then go full force with Ninjutsu. If Ninjutsu isn't your strong point, then this clan isn't recommended for you, but whatever. YOLO.
