Hello the below is a list of suggestions, the suggestions are backed up by some anime/manga material. The images and content is not of myself (I don’t own sh!t) I hope you read and consider. Love your feedback.
Jutsu Edit-Chidori Sharp Spear – known or commonly referred to as Eisou by players
The range is fine, it’s damage is fine, the chakra cost is fine. But I’m suggesting that it’s extended but remains. Meaning when attacker fires Eisou and a target is hit the attacker and target are in the animation where there’s eisou between them.
Now I’m not sure if the attacker should be able to weave handseals (regular ninjutsu) the spear is shown to be using one hand so this would be perfect for ninjutsu users who eisou then try and do a jutsu.(so you shouldn’t be able to perform any ninjutsu unless you’re Zabuza with one hand seals lol jk but yeah no ninjutsu that requires seals)
This link leads to a video showing one of the two scenes where eisou was used and did not only pierce the target but it remained (did not stab the target, stun them then disappear)-Note: In the Video link its designed so the video starts exactly at the point I want you to see so you don’t have to siv through a 3 minute video when 10-15 seconds is all I want you to see.
Sasuke stabs Orochimaru
Sasuke stabs Danzo through Karin
The main thing is eisou doesn't stab and go away and is there for the duration of stun the target is stunned and the attacker cannot weave handseals. This makes using eisou then diagonal-ling away while fighting multiple targets a no-no. If you're stabbing someone with eisou you're not hands-free to do as you please in a sense.
-yes I'm basically giving eisou users more of a risk now cause they'd be linked to their target in a sense leaving them open for attack
when in a group or being pursued by multiple assailants
Pressing the key or clicking the jutsu would release spear of course, or as before the stun time is set and reduced as the enemy struggles. Resting while using the spear is not possible either.
The long and short of it all:
-Eisou user is not able to use any seal requiring ninjutsu while a target is stunned by their spear
(I say seal requiring ninjutsu because things like missiles that the Rikidou use are not done by weaving handseals I think there may be other jutsu out there that don't use hand seals too.)
-Eisou user is linked to their target(s) sort of like aNara bind BUT free to move but only to and fro their target
