Well that was quick ubisoft better not disappoint this time with a weak ending :l I'm still wondering who's gonna be using the animus and for what reason did they go back to the pirate era. Read up on Edward and found out he was Connor's grandfather interesting that they went back in time only a little.

Well keep in mind that Conners Father turned into a Templar for a reason (I don't remember if they ever said why...) so hopefully this story will give a bit of backstory into Conner's Dad. If Desmond is actually dead (I really don't think he is, I think he just traded places with that bitch of a god and got stuck in the machine) then it has to be someone related to him, so maybe his dad?

Haythan(Conner's daddy) was the son of an assassin and was presumably trained by them for a short while(Hence why he is a Templar with hidden blades etc.) It was either a friend of his fathers, or a step father something along those lines who was a Templar who had an influence on Haythan and eventually persuaded him into leaving the Assasin's to become a Templar.

Tidus, I have a feeling thats alot of speculation though. I don't remember him ever stating why he switched sides, do you? I don't remember him even saying a Family friend helped him switch.

That's because Haythan never reveale any of this. You learn it in the game by randomly conversing with Shaun. But Shaun nor any one knows what the Templar did exactly to persuade him to switch sides. But I'm sure it was something extreme and it probably has something to do with the "Truth" that Charles went on and on about.

ACI -> ACII -> ACII Brotherhood -> ACII Revelations -> ACIII -> ACIV Black Flag Are the main games...there is of course the Mobile games which tell more stories of the actually characters. AC Bloodlines tells the story of Altair.
