Hi to all who have arrived i just need some insight on how gen jutsu works
does gen jutsu attack the mind by disrupting the flow of Chakra in the brain allowing the caster to conjure illusions etc at will or just creates the illusion without the disruption of charka fed to the brain?
having a debate and require insight thank you to all who reply
on a side note who remembers this

Genjutsu manipulates the chakra flow in the brain, allowing you to cause disruptions in their senses. If you're chakra doesn't get effected by the genjutsu ofcourse you won't see the illusions.

I don't see why you would post questions that you can perfectly find on google, should have just posted the video, which was your motivation to do this topic of course.

First i did try google, but to no avail, school computers wouldn't load the pages second, the motivation for this came from a debate i was currently in at Saturday school, the video is just some nostalgia effect

Some genjutsu is disrupting the chakra.
There are some like shadow clones that just make illusions.

what i would really like to know is if gen jutsu would work on a character out side the Naruto universe hence they don't have charka

Well to put it in simple terms, Chakra refers to the life force or vital energy of a human being. So I would assume that Genjutsu might work.

Waga, Clone Jutsu and Shadow Clones are ninjutsu, not genjutsu. o.o
Genjutsu specifically involves disrupting the chakra flow to the victim's brain, thus enabling the user to create illusions.
