To my fellow players, have we not yearned for something to keep us occupied once we cap?! Something to spice up our training by keeping us on our edge!? Something to sharpen our wits and teamwork skills?! Something to promote the bonds between friends!?!
I have made an idea for each Hokage in the Naruto Manga, this has no direct relation but I figured why not? Hopefully this may also display a bit of my creative insight as well
~Sasume's Ideas to Provide Entertainment and Fun for All~
~First Idea: The "Control Power" system~
System: "Power Control"
Is there ever a time when you wanted to spar with your friends but the leveling difference is too great? Want to test yourself against your sensei in a fair fight? Well fear not, the Power system would allow this.
Let's break it down , shall we?
How it works: A "Control Power" verb would be in commands, this would allow the user to set the power they do to a certain number below their max stat.
Example: I'm a Jounin but I want to show a little restraint when sparring my genin squad. I can go into Commands ----> "Control Power" ------> *set it to w/e seems appropriate* Then spar the squad, and since I have higher health, I could also teach, instruct, point out flaws, and say witty banter as I fight without killing them all right off.
This also is a great option to truly make tournaments fair. **IF** I were a admin and this system were in place I'd do a "Control Tournament" where your damage has to be set to X amount or lower if so desired.
As far as a word in closing on the "Power Control" system idea, I myself have been noticing that the balance of the game always slips more towards those who's fist is mighty, with this system in place that may provide a motive for people to even things out.
~~Second Idea: The Return of Squads/Squad Missions!~~
This idea is a joint one and easy to understand. The Squad system is added back into the game, however, with a few changes.
Change 1: GM's would be able to hear chat say
Change 2: A squad that is formed stays together permanently but if it does not do a mission within 5 days it's disbanded.
Change 3: A squad can only have 4 members, one Jounin, three Chuunin or lower lvl Ninja.
Change 5: Only Jounin may start a squad
Change 6: Jounin that lead a squad will be shown as "Special Jounin" instead of regular when they talk in V-Say.
Squad Missions!
(This idea goes hand-in-hand with the Squads idea)
OK, so, for the Squad Missions idea, it's a very simple concept to grasp. it has 5 main points to it,
1. New missions would be added that say (Squad Only). This means that they can only be done when all members of a Squad are online and meet the certain Level requirement.
2. The Jounin leading the squad must be at least 500 levels higher then the level requirement in order to give the squad in itself a fair chance.
3. All members must meet the Rank requirement before it can be done (i.e a genin can't do a chuunin ranked squad mission even if chuunin are in it)
4. The Jounin must pay a small sum of 3k for each Squad mission done. This will go towards the Village Economy(will be explained later)
5. If the squad fails, the village economy drops 3%, if it is sucessful, the village economy rises 3%
That's it for now on Squads, in closing I myself would like to see more leaders arise, people seem to be lacking in leadership skills these days, plus it would train people to be more social and perhaps cause a reason to have friendly squad fights??
~~~Third Idea: A Village Economy System...dun dun dun!!~~~
Ok, how this would work is VERY simple, so don't go over-thinking it like I did when I first thought this up.
In commands, there would be a "Village Economy" verb, this would bring up the "V.E Tab" How it would be displayed would be like such:
"Village Economy Percentage: XX% Positive/Negative
Best Contributor: *name here*
2nd Best Contributor: *name here*
3rd Best Contributor: *name here*
4th Best Contributor: *name here*
5th Best Contributor: *name here*
***Helping the Economy***
Each time a mission is done sucessfully(minus the cat mission), the village economy goes up 1%. This affects the prices of items in the shop. Regardless of if you're with the village you're buying in or not. Each range from X to X when it gets above 50% means the prices will drop
50%-60% = 5% cut on prices
60%-70% = 10% cut on prices
60%-70% = 15% cut on prices
70%-80% = 20% cut on prices
80%-90% = 25% cut on prices
100= 50% off all prices.
***Hindering the Economy***
There are all kinds of factors that hinder an economy, but there are only a few ways to in my system.
1. Each time a Training Log or Sword stump break the economy is decreased by 3%, this is because it takes time and money to repair a item like this irl.
2. The economy will continuously decrease over time so as to avoid having the prices cut constantly, each hour the economy will drop 7% -10% depending on the number of logs/stumps broken within that amount of time.
3. Each time there is a Chuunin exam, the economy decreases by 5% since it takes time and some money to organize the entire thing and to pay the proctors.
if the economy of a village drops below 50% it goes into the negative, and prices of items and such rise.
50%-40% = 5% raise on prices
40%-30% = 10% raise on prices
30%-20%= 15% raise on prices
20%-10% = 20% raise on prices
10% & Below= 25% raise on prices
Thats really all I've got for the village economy system, this was a tricky one, but this not only gives the higher levels something to do but it can also help the newbies of the village get stronger quicker.
~~~~Fourth Idea: Village Wars/Raids~~~~
Ok, this one is a bit lengthy but it would provide all the competitive shinobi out there with some fun and excitement
***Village Wars***
I'll use Konoha and Mist for a example since it seems they are the most populated villages most of the time.
Say Mist wants to declare war on Konoha, if both Villages have a Kage, both those Kage are online, and if both villages have at least 1 Sannin online, the Mizukage can declare war. This puts the villages in a life-or-death battle state that effects the economy of the villages, for each person killed, the economy of the casualty village drops by 2% and the economy of the victors village rises by 2%. When the war is over the winning villages economy goes to 90% and the loosers economy goes to 40%.
***Raids/Boss Fights***
Depending on the population of shinobi currently in the village, a large group of rouge shinobi will randomly bust in and attack the village. it is the job of the villagers to fend off these raids, if the village is successful then a "boss" shinobi will appear to be fought that runs around the village. The shinobi of that village will know if a boss is here because they'll have a phrase to accompany them. The boss has 1mill hp and hits for 10k flat. If the shinobi can out-last the boss he/she/it will loose interest and go away. If they beat the boss then theyll get +300 exp per hit for 10 mins. (yeah I know that'll probably need reworking)
Each village will have a different boss:
Leaf: Obito--"All of your puny efforts are wasted, there is no hope."
Mist: Kisame "Well...it seems Samehada is hungry, how about being its snack?!"
Sand: Sasori "I think I'll add you to my collection, you seem worthy."
Rock: Deidara "Hey you, check out my awesome art!"
Rain: Nagato "Pain shall engulf this village....it begins now!"
Cloud: Sasuke "Lets get this over with...!!"
Sound: Jiraiya (since he was oro's rival) "Here comes the prodigal sage!"
Raids are meant for giving the village a chance to coordinate teamwork with one another and perhaps gain something out of it in the process. Afterall, teamwork promotes friendliness.
~~~~~Fifth Idea: Master/Student System~~~~~
This system is simple and brief, a Sannin can take on a genin as their student and watch them grow under their teachings. The student must be above 500 but still a genin.
*The Sannin gets a verb in commands saying "Teleport to Student" if the student uses the "Request Aid" verb in commands to ask for help with something (this could NOT be used in chuunins) and may only be used 3 times every 5 hours.
When both the sannin and genin are training together they both gain 1% more exp then normal (or insert any incredibly small boost that seems fair)
*The master can have a command that says *Pass Down* this can only be used Once and allows the Master to pass along any non-affinity jutsu or non-bloodline trait jutsu to their student. (I can tell I'm going to get complaints, but, YES, Rasengan & Chidori can be passed down this way too, and if so, the student gets all the varients the master learned as well)
This hopefully will allow some of the more experianced players to help a newer one and maybe even make a good friend. Too many players these days only look out for themselves, thats a bad thing to do in this world, if you do you wind up friendless, with a terrible reputation, living a life you don't wish you did. I had a Master myself in a player formerly known as Reddeye, he taught me everything about macros, the Uchiha clan, he even helped me polish my basics a little. He truly was a outstanding master and a great friend. I make this system in honor of him and all the masters who go un-named to this day!!
*** In Closing***
To Matthew Fox(forgive me as this is as formal as I can put it since I do not know your true last name),
Matt, this game is awesome as it is, but boredom still continues to be a problem from what I've observed over my years here. I hope you'll consider my ideas as methods to eradicate that boredom and provide entertainment and fun for all. Thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope at least one of these reaches you.
Your ever faithful and sincear player,
Sasume Uchiha
