So again I shall ask the age old question which has separated men and women alike into two alliances. Which reigns supreme; Xbox360 or Ps3? I ask this, because my console stopped working and I need to get a new one. I'm not sure if I should go back down the same path or try something different.
Also how many of you are on NUNS for Ps3 or Xbox?
Edit: I know Skyrim doesn't have Dawnguard or Hearthfire for Ps3 so that plays a big factor in my decision as well.

People are either oblivious idiots or die hard fan boys, both of which are common. Now before I state anything, I am going to say that I am pro-Sony, always have been since the PSX era, and though I've experimented with Xbox and its successor, it didn't pique my interest as did the PlayStation.
Now, if you look at it from a technological aspect, examining the hardware and what not, the PS3 trumps the 360 - which is apparently unknown to some because they insinuate that "Xbox 360 is better... has better graphics... etc".... Ok.
But the hardware aspect is not really the premise of why I choose a console, and really, I couldn't care any less about the inside bulk of the machine, even if I tried. I went with the PS3 because of the free internet and games that I suspected would be Sony exclusive:
God of War Metal Gear Solid Kingdom Hearts (da fuq u at?!) Final Fantasy (Did not expect cross-platform) Other RPGs (Disgaea, Tales of, Atelier, etc.) Devil May Cry (didn't expect cross platform) One Piece (I knew we had to get atleast 1)
And that's pretty much it for me, though I know some other exclusives that people enjoy:
Little BigPlanet Infamous Rachet & Clank Uncharted White Knight Chronicles Demon Souls etc
As far as I knew, the only exclusives I really expected for the Xbox were:
Gears of War Halo
None of which really would influence me enough to main this console over its counterpart. But that's just me.

I had a Ps3 and had got it for those reasons. The classic titles that came with the ps2 and ps3 are nostalgic as fuck and deserve to be. God of War, Shadow of the Colossus, Ico, Final Fantasy, etc. The list goes on, but I'm curious as to what the Xbox360 has to offer, so I'm going to give it a chance, but Sony is my first love. <3

For me, I couldn't play Skyrim on the PS3. There was something about the sound, it was off. I use my 360 for Skyrim, and my PS3 to watch blu ray

Chances are that a multi-platform game will be better on the 360 unless you have a respectable developer who will actually make their game for the PS3 rather than port it over. So consider that if you grab alot of them.
PS3 has more good exclusives and if you want to pay for PS+ you get a shitton of free games. I suggest NBA Jam. Grab a couple of friends and yell at the TV for a few hours.

PS3's a better idea in the long run if you're a fan of system-exclusive RPG's/Action Games/Etc, basically anything not sports/shooting related. Just like the Wii is for "family entertainment", xbox 360 is good for it's shooters/sports game variety.
Sony consoles in general are more for RPG/Action-RPG/Action fanatics.
