'Cause it's true? Lol Skyrim may have better visuals but Dogma definitely has better gameplay. Rent it. Also it's more challenging than Skyrim is.

I think the only drawback to Dragon's Dogma is the fact that the main storyline is essentially predestined, and Skyrim's is more open and choice oriented. Both games are long as fuck if you do the side quests. In Dogma it can get hectic when you're running low on curatives and you're like half an hour away from town, with orcs and chimeras a plenty lol. Overall though, I think Dogma beats Skyrim. I am a fan of the increasing difficulty and the fact that you're limited to certain moves in combat, have to watch the weight of your items or else you'll have a hard time running, and must use other people's pawns carefully to ensure safe travels. Personally I am a Strider (maxed vocation) with a few augments and a couple of upgraded skills. My pawn is a Warrior I think, whichever class lets you use the two handed swords. I usually bring along someone else's Fighter and a Mage for healing, I try to get mages with the High Anedyne ability. Also, in Dogma, you cannot recover your health while outside of battle without a spell or curatives. Taking damage also lowers the amount of your health that you can gain back. So if you're hit hard and have like 2k hp, it's possible you'll only be able to recover like 1.6k maximum with spells. Curatives will fix that so it's good to stock up on them. Also that being a factor in combat really places emphasis on patience and reading the opponent and responding rather than just "Look! I can punch all the shits and pwn this game." If you go into a fight alone, high chances are you'll die... very quickly. and since you cannot quick travel to any place without finding these rare ass stones, you'll need to duck, dodge, dip, dive, and dodge + counter your enemies to get to where you're going, and also make sure you come back. Jordan, do you have a difficult time fighting Saurians? I find them extremely annoying lol as well as Chimeras, I have a disadvantage against chimeras because I don't bring sorcerors along. I would probably like DD if it has 1st person It doesn't. However it is still fun for people who like challenging adventures with loads and loads of side quests.

The lion part is the part I have problems with Jordan, the snake and ram parts die very quickly. When I get the lion low on hp it goes berserk and starts hopping everywhere and since I can't tank for shit I die in like 2 blows lol Saurians suck in swarms, most of the time I can use the Strider dash attack to get behind them and another skill to remove their tails quickly. but in groups they just bash the shit outta you xD Cyclops/Orcs with helmets on are easy man, get a mage/sorcerer with lightning skills and then a fighter/warrior to use a heavy skill to knock it off (seems the 2 handed hammer/greatsword skill upward smash's upgraded form takes it off in like 1 blow). They're stunned easily so the lightning mage should just spam her lightning and you should be on it's head beating it to a pulp
