Ok so i don't know if Matt have any plans with Chiyo's puppets so i'll just go ahead and make my suggestion on these to bring more flavors to the playstyle.
So the idea i got is that at one point Chiyo will be able to give you a scroll. In this scroll are the 10 puppets that she used against Sasori. Now you say why a scroll? well that is simple to keep the backpack tab clean and for a system that i will explain next.
The system i was thinking of is that you click the scroll and a window will open with all the 10 puppets listed. From here you select the one for wasd, Once that is done a second window will appear where you select the one for tfgh i think it was or none.
Once that is done the puppets will appear next to you similar to the parents puppets. The reason we only control 2 at a time is because it will be really difficult for all 10 and to make them fit eachother in different combinations for more fun and variations.
Now over to the puppets and my idea for them.
Puppet 1: A puppet that somewhat resembled an "oni" (demon). Though it displayed no weaponry or hidden mechanisms, it had huge fists and immense striking power. With that we can say that it's attack should be stronger than most puppets.
Puppet 2: This puppet had grey markings around its mouth area and hair coming from a single point on its head. It was shown to have colossal fists and fierce taijutsu skills. Could make this puppet faster than the others to indicate it's taijutsu skills. New animation where it somehow use fists and legs to strike.
Puppet 3: This puppet had a red face with white hair. It was used in conjunction with the black-haired puppet. It is able to lift a section of its face to reveal a spinning orb with four large chakra blades. This puppet's regular attack can be a tiny bit weaker than normal to fit with it's ability if used in combination with puppet 4. The spinning chakra blades do a 1 tiled aoe around itself if used that way.
Puppet 4: This puppet had long, black hair and works in conjunction with the red puppet. It is able to extend its hand via a chain, connecting with its partner's hand to hurl it around like a yo-yo. This puppet could be more tanky making it more difficult to kill, yet have useless attacks unless used with puppet 3 for the spinning yo-yo. The yo-yo can be controlled with the controls for puppet 3.
Puppet 5: A bald puppet with large holes in its skull. This puppet's hidden weapons are the long extending cables coiled in its skull that can pierce numerous enemies at a time. Since the range is very long, it can pierce distant targets without even getting close. Also, it is able to latch onto opponents with its cords and then crumble them slowly. It's attacks could be coil extend and coil latch. Coil extend is a ranged piercing move that deals damage to anyone in it's path, and coil latch can be a close range stun/damage where they stun you then attempts to crumble you.
Puppet 6: This puppet had spiky hair and the lower half of its face was green in colour. It had the kanji for "Buddha" in its mouth which activated the Three Jewels Suction Crushing technique when used in conjunction with the Dharma and Sangha puppets. This puppet is one of 3 that if used lets you use Sanbou Kyukai. It will have normal attacks and some more health than normal.
Puppet 7: This puppet had a ponytail, a beard, red markings under its eyes and the kanji for "Dharma" in its mouth, and worked with the Buddha and Sangha puppets to use the Three Jewels Suction Crushing technique. Same as 6 and 8.
Puppet 8: This puppet had white hair and large sideburns with the kanji for "Sangha" in its mouth, and worked in conjunction with the Buddha and Dharma puppets to use the Three Jewels Suction Crushing technique. Same as 6 and 7.
Puppet 9: This puppet was modelled after a female with red hair tied into buns. It wielded two large, broad-swords and was capable of cleaving through enemies with ease, although the sheer size of the weapons reduced the puppet's dexterity somewhat. This puppet could be used to deal damage in 3 tiles like big swords, but at the cost of some speed if possible or the animation will be enough to work as less dexterity.
Puppet 10: The final puppet had one eye, and was capable of releasing an orb from its mouth used for the Sealing Technique: Lion Closing Roar. This one could probably also be a tank at the cost of attack damage. It will also let you utilize the sealing technique called lion closing roar.
Now that we are done with the 10 puppets we can go over to the two jutsus they have.
Three Jewels Suction Crushing: Also called Sanbou Kyukai. This technique is a performance by puppets 6, 7, and 8 of the Chikamatsu Collection. The three puppets get into a triangular formation and by opening the mechanisms marked with "Buddha", "Dharma", and "Sangha", respectively, they invoke this technique. A terrifying tornado breaks out and sucks the targets into the centre of the formation. Everything that is sucked into the centre is completely crushed with tremendous force and shot out from the back.
My idea is that only 2 of these are required and when used will temporarily summon the missing puppet to perform the move. They will do the animation then make the tornado that pulls anything in it's path for them. Once the targets hits them they take damage for then to be pushed away behind the formation. To not make it over powered players will be able to somehow get out of it.
Sealing Technique: Lion Closing Roar: In japanese it is called Fuinjutsu: Shishi Heikou. This jutsu is unlocked if the puppeter is using puppet 10.
What the puppet does is shoot out a lion head that pins down the target for then to perform the sealing technique that completely blocks the target's chakra. The animation will be first of a small ball that increase into a human sized lion head with tons of fangs. This animation will then hit the target and the sealing formula will appear around them. Once the target's chakra is gone the kanji for close or shut will appear in the middle of the formula. Instead of completely sealing the target it will probably be better to just make the chakra go to 0. Unless Matt can make it not permanent.
I'm not sure what more to add to this idea so feel free to add your ideas or critic on what could be improved. We could probably also use this topic to bring up more ways to make puppeters more fun, just to keep the suggestions area more clean.
