There's like a path you have to take as you head out of Riverwood that's on your left, that'll lead you to some snowy mountains where the dungeon is. Check your minimap.

Legion of course. Stormcloaks are too busy worrying about honor to see the logic. Although I do admire their determination.

Which is why I went with Stormcloaks when I first played Skyrim ^ Then I found out Whiterun gets destroyed, and I said hell no So this time around, I joined the Legion. It happens no matter which side you choose, all that really changes is if you want Solitude (The place where you can buy a three story mansion) to get destroyed by siding with the stormcloaks, with the legion I think Windhelm gets destroyed for a while then after a couple days it gets rebuilt to being almost perfect and you can also become thane of Windhelm after that jackass Ulfric gets owned. In all honesty though, both sides are kinda wrong. Sure the legion is oppressing the nord's religion by signing that White gold concordia with the Dominion but at the same time Ulfric is just power hungry and will do anything to get his crown because by starting this civil war hes actually weakened the legion giving favor to the elves. True enemy=The dominion, word.

I know it gets destroyed regardless, but I'd rather be on the side of Whiterun and Solitude, than Windhelm. The Stormcloak jarls are assholes. ikr

my first character i went with the stormcloaks, cuz in reality i thought they were the "good guys" plus the legion tried to Lob my head off and that kinda ticked me off, But then i saw how racist ulfric was he was basically unwilling to help anyone who wasn't a nord. Like the dark elves had to live in a confined corner in windhelm and the argonians can't even live inside the walls. If a powerhungry guy like that was able to become high-king it wouldn't be best in the long run, not to mention after i found the Thalmor Docimer about Ulfric i couldn't look at him in the same light lol. Legion 4 lyfe.
P.S Despite Talos worship being outlawed the empire still allowed secret worship until ulfric and his stormcloaks made a big issue out of it, then the empire had to crack down. It's like if the teacher alotted notes on a test if they were out of sight but then you start bragging about it so the teacher takes it away and suddenly you turn into a hard-ass because you caused "the man" to bring the hammer down.

Yeah I played through both sides to get a taste and uh I'll admit the stormcloak's yelling made me say for a moment "Hey they're right." ...But then I thunk...
