In all reality , probably COD. I mean i'm going to get halo4 before cod but cod has such a big market that alot of people who bought mw3 last year didn't even like video games and would go out and get it just for the hype and online/TV popularity.
On the other hand there are ALOT of halo players. Halo was the game other gamers raged on in the early 2000's(just like COD is having now.) based on popularity , hype , and some repetitiveness.
My prediction: Halo 4 will do well but COD will probably sell more , but possibly having lower fun value(?)(probably not , i won't lie , i kind of like that BO2 trailer.) All we can do is wait for the months passing , see more information on what is in both games , and see the results.

Honestly, I'm looking forward to BO2 campaign more than H4.(I'm going to buy neither but.. yeah) Microsoft forcing out a new trilogy can only strain the series.

It may have been disappointing to alot of people but the 25 million and over 1 billion speaks. I mean halo 3 did well in selling 8mill copies but this is how i'm seeing this playing out.

black ops was a disapointment to the people who don't like the treyarch games. To the people who did like them, black ops was amazing. Personaly, I hated world at war, and just didn't think much of treyarch. But, the game was better then I expected. Its biggest redeaming quality would be zombies. And if BO2 has zombies in it as well, I'm sure hundreds of people(like myself, probaly), will buy it just to play zombies.
As for which one will sell better? Halo 4 or BO2? Well, I only got 4 words for you.
Battlefield Bad Company 3.
That is all.
P.S. If you ain't down with that, then we've got two words for you...*Waits for someone to finish it*

BF3 is going to take SOOOO much longer to come out than the other two Kyo... so it doesn't factor into this. :I
On the other hand, Black Ops was the only Treyarch game that I liked for the series, and for me the most redeeming factor was the multiplayer. It was so much different from the previous, and despite it's flaws proved fun.
MW3 raped snipers and people trying to cleverly hide by making every spot on the map accessible 100 different ways. Basically they encouraged quick scoping (which I consider a noob tactic since I liken it to ohko'ing people, and yes I do know how to do it) instead of the patient sniper that would be more realistic.

They know their audience. Treyarch tried to be an honest company when they "removed" quick-scoping. Infinity Ward knows better. The COD series is all about the "Run-and Gun." If anyone wants to play more like a real sniper they would know to look at the battlefield series.

I don't really care about either.
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Future Soldier FTW
Edit: If I had to pick one, it'd be Halo 4, though.

No 360 so I won't be able to get halo 4, and I'm never buying another COD game again. Though there's too many COD fans so In reality they'll probably get more sells, though I'd think Halo 4 would be a much better buy IMO, even though they're straining out the series a bit much.

To be honest I think they eliminated the balance of teamwork that was required (at least to some degree) in MW2. I think what happened was people complaining about snipers that hid in areas with one entrance and set claymores there, then after you died they got another claymore from your body and set another one there. This was easy to get around though...
