So I've had my computer for about 5 months now, And it's gotten quite a few viruses trojans etc. I forgot the website Maito gave me to clean my PC of them. Anyone know of any good reliable websites to rid my computer? If so post please.

go to google (if your google still works, Joe had this nasty malware that redirected his google searches ;D) type in advanced systemcare and that is the website/program that I use. I also use AVG (Advanced Virus Guard).

-System restore to about a week or as close to a week as possible if possible first-
Tidus, reboot your computer and enter 'safe mode with networking' , i think it's f8 you press as soon as your first set of text appears on your computer screen after it's turned on.
Once you successfully enter safe mode,it'll look like windows 98/ windows classic theme. Trojans and most malware can't function under windows 98 so they'll be disabled.
Use this time to download AVG and or Windows Security Essentials, Malwarebytes, do a full system scan with both, using malwarebytes first.
After you've done your scan and quarantine, reboot your system and start it back up as usual.
How you managed to get viruses so quickly -_- ? I must teach you how to compoooter ! [ Yes i just made it a verb]

Thanks Matt & Maito <3 gunna start now. According to some security pop up tingy. I only have about 78 or so viruses(WAY less then my last computer if you remember.) I just wanna nip it in the bud now before they pile up like before. As for how the viruses build up. I blame my siblings for messing with my computer when I'm sleeping, Going on weird game sites. And my mother who clicks on those "Congratulations you've won links" Even though I've repeatedly told her its a damn scam -_-

So what i've stated or what Matt said will suffice. Roy has a dirty mind :3

LOL I also thought this was about condoms. I thought Tidus was gonna joke around like "Even the largest sizes don't fit, help me guys!" I would've rofl'ed so hard at the responses.
On a different note, Tidus I suggest you download a free trial of Trend Micro Titanium Security Maximum (or something like that, it's the best one out of the 3 versions) and boot your comp into safe mode, install the file, and run a scan. It will automatically quarantine selected files (which you can choose to remove later on, or try to cleanse free of the viruses) and automatically delete files that are too corrupted to function properly. It'll remove bad cookies, and detect spyware, malware, trojan horses, and other nasty viruses. The removal of these should also speed up your computer as viruses tend to bog it down.
