Wagarashi's Fishman Guide
This is a guide for my fellow Fishymen My Momochi Guide will continue and ill change it according to updates. Check reply's i will give an Update list)
Hoshigaki Overview:
The Hoshigaki Clan is a Clan based off the Fishman Kisame. The clan has the ability to throw sharks at people. Oh and one thing you will not receive the Samehada like Kisame. If you want a sword buy the Katana(7.5k Yen) or the Zanbatou(10k Yen) at the store.
Hoshigaki Pros and Cons:
Pros
- Probably the most balanced clan that can still last in a fight.
- Special icon
- Can fight Strategically or wildly
- Can completely change the terrain of the battleground.
Cons
- Your First Water Shark Jutsu is copyable
- No storage Op'd moves.
Hoshigaki Clan Stat Build:
All Builds: Start by maxing your Stamina around 3-6k the more stamina the longer you train without having to rest so that means more leveling over time but the less stat points you can use to make yourself stronger. The choice is up to you most people Max at 5k
True Hoshigaki:
Pretty much for this build have a Decent Balance of Ninjutsu and Taijutsu exactly how much is once again for you to decide this game allows for lots of flexibility in your characters so play around with you build. Look at how you play if you like your sword more then have a bit more Tai then Nin. (Tai: 25000 Nin: 20000) If you like using your Nin with your Sword increase your Ninjutsu a bit more then your Tai. (Tai: 20000 Nin: 25000, If your wondering about the numbers, In this game you receive 5 Skill points that you can use increase your stats. The level cap is 10000 so, that means 50,000 stat points so assuming that 5000 go into Stamina that leaves 45,000 Stat points.)
Swordfish:
For this build focus on Tai and nothing else you will use your Sword to kill everything.
School of Sharks:
For this build Focus on Ninjutsu and use your sharks and other ninjutsu as your main source of damage.
Hoshigaki Clan Training
True Hoshigaki and SwordFish:
Its basically this, sword train, sword train and sword train. Sword training is now equal to Log Training in speed, and it gives a good balance of Chakra and health. So do this until you max your Level.
School of Sharks:
This allows for some flexibility as do most clans. Seeing as there is no need to use a sword for Hoshigaki (despite popular belief) you can train in other ways. For this build I recommend throw training. The main reason is that Jutsu take chakra and this training method gives the most chakra out of any. Although you will be lacking in hp. You will also be able to deal smaller amounts of that don't require chakra. Remember this is a recommendation.
Hoshigaki Clan Jutsu:
I will judge moves based on how effective it is.
Exclusive:
Suikodan no Jutsu
Level 100: Offensive
Shoots 1 Shark 1 tile wide for 1x nin damage.
Grade C
Good for the low level requirement and the low chakra requirement of 500 will help you out in the earlier levels. If you can aim you might use this over Five Shark Frenzy because of its low chakra rate. Does have a bit of a longer cooldown compared to other basic 1x Wide 1x Ninjutsu attacks but it gets the job on occasion.
Goshokuzame no Jutsu
Level 1,000: Offensive
Shoots 5 sharks 5 tiles Wide for 1x Ninjutsu damage.
Grade C-
Good range, basic damage long CD. Less than stellar jutsu. The long cooldown will leave you vulnerable. Use it sparingly, like when you need one more hit on an enemy. Or if you've got some way to defend yourself during the cooldown.
Suiton: Baku Suihouha
Level: 500: Supplementary
A jutsu that creates water.
Grade: B+
Creates a good amount of water through a dash similar to how Kisame used it. Gets the job done. Can be used as an escape.
Suiton: Dai Baku Suishouha
Level: 2,500: Supplementary
A jutsu that changes well over your field of vision into an ocean of water.
Grade: A+
This jutsu is amazing on the right opponents.
Suiton:

Hoshigaki Clan Strategies:
These are some tips for those things you cant seem to beat and some other things that'll help you out.
Know your opponent:
This is the most useful strategy and can be used with any clan.
Look at the person. Do they have any weapons? This could dictate how they fight. If they have a sword or knuckle knives they'll probably run in swinging. Knowing that you could take a defensive position prepared to move around their first attack and strike. They don't have any weapons? They'll probably be using ninjutsu. If so you could let them expend chakra for awhile then Use DaiBakuSuishouha. Or you could even take a hit. Look at the damage of the attack if it's really high then he/she may be nin whore. Meaning without chakra he/she is useless. Use DaiBakuSuishouha and as he water walks he will expend unneeded chakra and will reach 0 faster. Look at them again do they show any clan characteristics? How are most in that clan built? What do people of the clan use? Act accordingly as to such. For example lets say it's an Uchiha. They like to spread out their stats meaning rarely will you get 1 hit. You could afford to take a hit and deal much more back. Uchiha tend to use genjutsu. Throw out some clones. Housenka? Daibakusuishousha. So all in all. THINK. It can save your skin.
Jashin's Immortality:
Basically dance around the Jashin for a while because thier basically useless while in the circle unless you attack so do not attack them in the circle. Wait for them to get out and attack randomly they'll die eventually
especially if you don't let them kill anyone else. ( They get immortality from killing people) So you play with them until it runs out then kill them, you wont know when it ends so attack often.
Ranged people:
Some people have powerful ranged attacks and they'll run and continue using it over and over the best way to deal with it would be to back off and set up for a counter when they come looking for you. If your smart you'll use that but, wheres the fun in that. Use your trusty sword like always shushin behind them and wipe them out. Not as simple as it sounds. D=
Jiongu's Skin:
There skin blocks your sword and every other type of melee jutsu (cept rasen/dori). The only way to kill them is to use nin. So use your sharkies, they'll love you for it.
Flying Clans:
If you're a True Hoshigaki or a SwordFish you can hit fliers. Just run up and attack. If you're a School of Sharks. I'm sorry but you can't hurt them at all. Unless of course if you have the right element.
Wrap-Up:
This is a rather strong clan that can wipe the floor with people in a fair way. O and your a Fish.
