Hello, you may call me Aizen, a Non-Clan that resides in Mist. This will be my first guide so go easy, I will edit it when comments start coming in and as I progress in level. I believe in doing my guides a little differently, so bear with me. Instead of assigning a certain method based on a build, I go by Elements and how you can use certain techniques/combo's to your advantage. ( Partially since this is a Non-Clan guide too ) ( P.S, this guide is for as long as your below 10k since I only know the points and distributions up to then, xD )
Prologue
This guide is for Non-Clans that are Fuuton-based and beginners, but as I move along in the game I'll update it as I find out new tricks. I think Fuuton can work well with a Non-Clan due to the range of jutsu's and some nice little combo's I came up with on my own. Fuuton is mostly Nin-based, so that's what I've kept this guide to. I did throw in some Gen/Sword combo's here and there maybe, but I personally think Gen is cheap if not used properly.
So lets begin
This guide shall be simple and proceed in steps. You could think of it as " Steps to Building a Pwnage Non-Clan. "
Step 1, Starting out.
When you first start the game you'll be given 100 stat points to put into something. I always go with Stamina. I also do this, if my Nin and Stamina Stats arent above certain amounts I remake to improve my starting chances.
I.E :
Character name: Aizen.
Stats
Stamina : 200
Ninjutsu : 354
Genjutsu : 987
Taijutsu : 28
Speed : 256
This is not the ideal starting off build if your following this guide. As you can see the Ninjutsu and Stamina stats are below decent. Here is where you remake(make sure you SAVE first tho so you don't get name bugged) and go back in again for better stats.
I.E
Character Name: Aizen
Stats
Stamina : 700
Ninjutsu : 486
Genjutsu : 210
Taijutsu :111
Speed : 232
This is the ideal starting build. As you can plainly see your Nin and Stamina are high, so that's a good thing to start building off of. Your goal is to have anywhere from 1500 to 2500 Nin by the time the Chuunins come around, or you could go higher if you like to guarantee ownage by that time.
Step 2, The Importance of the Chakra Card
Now, some of you may say, " well this guide is strange considering that the chance to get Fuuton is completely random " well not anymore. You can change your element via this process : Get a chakra card after training to 50 and doing the Cat Mission, buy the chakra card but don't click it yet!!!, save, click it. If you dont get Fuuton do not save!!!! relog and click it and do the above steps unti lyou get Fuuton
Step 3, Get to Training
There are several basic ways to train in this game:
Logs : Give a very nice hp gain and normal for everything else.
Water Walking : Gives more chakra then anything else, just as fast as logs
Sword Stumps : Gives Sword Skill in random amounts from 1-4 points. Just as fast as Logs or water walking.
Throw Training : Gives same boosts I think, not completely sure, yet I do know its not just as fast as the others
I myself train on sword stumps since I am a balanced Non-Clan, but I've gone the reverse way and started using my sword before I trained my Ninjutsu, since I've done things the way I did my tai is around 2300, but my Nin I think is 1.1k or something close. So I'm probably going to train a good deal more before attempting Chuunins. Regardless, there is also another important thing to consider, Stamina. I have 1500 Stamina and thats all I'm going to put into it until 700, then from maybe 700 - 750 everything will go into Stamina, then that should be enough for a while.
I also managed to compile a basic List of Fuuton Techniques:
Mugen Sajin Daitoppa :This jutsu is categorized under homing and thus, is unavoidable. It deals damage based on your nin. If my memory is right it deals Nin x 0.5, but it might have changed.
Wind Blade : A tricky move to get the hang of at first, but once you know how to properly use it you can be pwnsome( will update with damage multipliers)
Fuuton Shinkakkua ( Danzo exclusive + damage multiplier coming soon )
Fuuton Shinkurenpai ( Danzo exclusive + damage multiplier coming soon )
( There is one other Danzo exclusive I think )
Step 4, The Crossroads of Implants.
Here it comes down to a big decision and a Non-Clan Milestone, you can either choose Sharingan or Byakugan to have Implanted in one of your Eyes. Sharingan gives you the ability to copy most elemental jutsu's and Byakugan gives you extended vision( there is something else too I think but I'll update it) If you plan on following this guide then I STRONGLY suggest you get a Byakugan. Why? Remember those Chuunin exams that are coming up?? xD
Step 5, Owning in Chuunins
Ah the Chuunins, a milestone in a young shinobi's life that can be a great turning point for them. By the time you take the Chuunin exams you'll have Wind Blade, which is a Fuuton users most critical move in the beginning. If you can learn how to pwnsomly use Wind Blade it will make doing some seemingly tough things as easy as riding a bicycle. So you should have anywhere from 1500 to 2500 Nin by the time you take the Chuunins if you've followed the guide( you can go higher if you feel the need to be op'ed for a genin and feared > Once you pass the exam and end up in the forest you'll need either good finger skills or a Byakugan. Why a Byakugan you ask? Well it is one of my combo's I came up with while experimenting one day. The Byakugan gives you a extended range of vision, thus increasing the size of the area in which you can use wind blade, so just pick them off with Wind Blade until you find the scroll you need.
I know some of you may consider the above tactic(Byakugan+Wind Blade) noobish, but in most cases it can and will be extremely helpful.
Step 6, Introduction to Blades.
Swords are some of the most awesome weapons in this game. and while a Fuuton based Non-Clan with Pure Nin can be a awesome way to roll, you can throw in some sword techniques and combo's to make a fight more interesting. The number of points you put into Tai(Since now all swords are based on Tai) is up to you, but the key is BALANCE. Another important thing to keep in mind is the different kinds of blades out there. They are as follows ; Small Sword, Twin Swords, Generic Big Sword, and SSM Swords. The Small Sword and the Generic Big Sword are the only two that can be bought I think, I get the feeling I'm wrong tho xD
Step 7, Putting it all Together.
If you choose to use both Blade and Nin as a main fighting style, remember that the key is to balance it all out. I'm tired so I honestly don't want to do the point distributions so I'm just going to give it a best estimate and say have your Nin and Tai only a few hundred or a few thousand apart, if you want to be effective at both. The best way to train in balanced form is to train Nin first then Tai, but you could do it the other way around. Also if your going Tai a Byakugan implant is also recommended.
Epilogue
Just continue training and doing your best, feel free to experiment around with a few techniques. Also, those other jutsu's that Danzo teaches you can come in real handy on certain missions.
I do believe I've covered everything I've set out to cover, and I'll be updating this guide as I go along in the game and acquire new information as to the parts I left out. Also, if you wish to recommend something to me for this guide feel free to PM me or post it. I'd also appreciate some positive feedback and possibly some help with the new stat point distributions since the cap was changed as well as some of the multipliers I didn't know. So let the comments .... begin! xD
Thanks
