Hello all, Sasume here. Well I've gotten rather tired of people not remembering my lessons I've so painstakingly strove to teach so I'm just going to post the general ones for all to see. Hopefully the community benefits.
Lesson 1. Always asses the strength of an enemy before truly exerting effort in combat. You can have all the confidence (& cheap moves) you like but it doesn't mean anything unless you have a clear and precise analysis of what your enemy can do. Now, this DOESN'T MEAN THAT THEY WON'T HAVE A TRUMP CARD. I cannot stress that enough....
Lesson 2. Don't be full of yourself!! I can't begin to describe how many times someone I gave pointers to found a stronger technique than what they currently had, though "I'll own everything with this muahahahaha" then proceeds to almost IMMEDIATELY get their ass handed to them on a silver platter. Always treat the enemy your facing with respect.
Lesson 3. When fighting a Genjutsu user, don't get mad and annoyed. All it does is cloud your judgement. Most gens can be kai'ed out of and if they do have Tree Gen and you aren't a master Uchiha, well, then sadly luck just wasn't on your side. Remember that fighting where things can hit you can also be advantageous. If you're fighting in leaf, hit rock lee with a jutsu then he'll constantly hit you to break you out of the Genjutsu's they cast. Obviously you need to be a high enough lv for this to work.
Lesson 4. Anticipate, Anticipate, Anticipate. Prediction is the key to this game. If you can't guess what your enemy will do next at least with SOME degree of accuracy or make a plan to deal with any unknown factors, then you won't survive.
