Sure Cold blooded, Don't go. The world needs people to work the fast food resturants and stock the grocery stores. ^^ I never went to college and I make over $15 an hour and that is only a paygrade 5 or 4 We all don't get to be that lucky. Count your blessings, name them one by one as they say. Roy, for my pre-calculus course, course work was 20% [ need 8% to qualify for the exam] and then the final itself was 80% [ you need 32%+ to record a 'pass' then anything above that would improve your grade standing] Kyuubi, you heartless bastard,i should fry you in a large pool of oil for that statement ! Or better yet, force you to bleach, you don't deserve to be my color after such cruel words.

Comp Sci I - D English - B Calc - F
Had literally hundreds of problems to work on before I could start programming and passing in assignments for Comp Sci. And I just derped at Calc, and I don't even know why. I never even struggled with a math class prior but eh. Lots of people say CompSci and Math go hand and hand but I think I'm rather good at C++ so far and I just utterly bombed Calc.

Scientifically proven, studying yields failing, I'll give you a prime example. In my trig class in 2010, EVERY single test/quiz I averaged a B+, no studying, no paying attention in class, just drawing and sleeping all day lol. On our 3rd Test, this girl was like she's been struggling in class and she wanted to have a study session, so I helped her study --- went over the material and everything was crystal clear for the both of us.
The test comes, and I got like a 59 even though I got a 10point bonus question correct, so without that I had a 49, and the professor claimed that she thought it to be the easiest test she administered that semester (of course she's female so her opinion is....). But to be fair though, all the previous students that excelled on the prior tests failed badly just as I did whereas all the students who failed badly prior to, passed and claimed the test to be easy.... Weird....

Damn...Imma have to open up an ntfb calc tutoring program with kyuubi or something. If (calculusDifficult==true && roysCalcGrade>=92) { peopleHelpedByRoy++; }

People have problems with Calculus because it's the next "Jump" to make in math, and the most difficult to boot. I got a "B" so It doesn't really matter to me a whole lot. But anyway: You start off in mathematics with your basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. You then jump up Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, and Statistics. Which is a relatively easy jump for almost everyone. You then jump up into your higher level mathematics courses like Calculus I, Calculus II, Calculus III, and whatever else. This is the biggest hurdle in mathematics for most people to make, and for people who are going for jobs like engineering, doctors, etc. Its the most crucial one to make. I won't say that it doesn't matter if you fail the first time, because it does. I'll just say that if you plan on repeating the course, don't fail a second time. Honestly, you'd be better off dropping the class and getting a "W" than staying in the class, failing, and getting an "F". Most of calculus isn't even calculus tbh, sure you apply calculus techniques at the beginning but after that it's just algebra for some topics. Take partial fractions for example and evaluating limits at infinity. I got a B in calc during HS and a 4 on the exam so because of that I got to skip calc 1 and had a good advantage when taking calc II. Worth it imo.

From the time they introduced letters in MATHEMATICS i struggled. Now, numbers are scarcely seen, i have to learn a bunch of greek symbols and letters. Actually, from the time you could take a MATHEMATICS course and not need a calculator, it was no longer math..[ Calculus 3, discrete mathematics and advanced math are both prime examples.] Roy, fuck you. Have a nice day.
