I think you guys are gonna like the changes we've made so far. It doesn't even feel like the same game anymore.

I think you guys are gonna like the changes we've made so far. It doesn't even feel like the same game anymore. Good. I had some problems with certain things...namely the uselessness of so many things :/ FUCKING DOTONZ definitely topped this list. lol. @mello's post, since multiquoting is apparently foreign to proboards... Trust me, Balance is the biggest pain in the ass anyone will ever have to deal with in a game sense. It took us three years and then some to tweak projectile attacks to a fair manner in a certain pokemon game; originally they were 100% homing because they were "slower than physical attacks" but this was proven time and again to be pure BS on a certain admin (Jordanland's) part. Then we went awhile with them being pretty much super-spammable to offset not being homing...since we didn't have PP (And are only just now deciding PP is worth it...lol)that one was bad. Now the next update is (not going to be, but we wish) the final attempt to balance that problem. XD That's not getting into the fact that it's been a struggle to balance exp/money payouts too.

storm isnt triple... its raiton and suiton and boil is katon suiton also.. i doubt ite terumii its a far ranged clan and some of u who sues nin the most will know it sucks with cast time. my guess would be dust. For some reason, I keep thinking Fuuton is actually part of Storm Release. Then I realize it isn't. Dust wouldn't be bad enough to warrant being called cheaper than binds/gens though. Sure, there's the whole particle disentigration BS, but that doesn't necessarily have to be a guarenteed one-shot. Also, it depends how cast times are reworked. If Taka and Sefi and Mello are trying to focus on faster gameplay, I don't think it'd be impossible to discern that nin speed would be getting a look taken at it. Hell, main reason people loved Fuuton is that it's the only really fast, non-banned nin element. I seem to recall Sefi saying he was hoping to have it up sometime around the start of the year, if that's still happening it'd be nice. xD im sure dust is all 1 hitters seeing we have no idea what happens when someone is hit, sasuek got saved, madara dodged it. And i asked taka if he can make the fire ball shoot out not goka the mid size one with soem mastery hopfully that gets added.

Seeing as it's basically the same technique used three different ways, just make one variant a weaker AoE (Cube), the other a high-damaging one tile pillar (The cylinder/beam/pillar one), and the last one a medium-damage three-tile shot (The cone). Balance should trump canon, in all honesty. Non-stationary AoE fireball could be nice, since it is used that way by Itachi and Sasuke in situations where they need it to be more of a projectile shot. Maybe make it a toggle.

Wasn't this game supposed to drop by now? There hasn't ever been a set due-date, even the one Mello just gave isn't conclusive. Good games take time to make after all.

It's just that I completely forgot about BYOND and this game for a couple months, and had an inkling of a memory of someone saying this game was supposed to drop on like the 15th or something of this month. Kinda feel like Attack on Titan, that shit was hot when it dropped. People was wanting more ASAP, but they waited 2? 3? years and people stopped caring so much.

Bumps in the road of development happen. But there's still a lot to look forward to.

A slight teaser and possibly some bad news for all you throwers from last wipe!
Throwing Skill no longer increases the damage of throwing weapons as all weapons now deal static damage.
Throwing Skill affects a player's hit rate/accuracy with throwing weapons. At max a regular player will have 90% accuracy with throwing weapons.
Dodge Rate will work against throwing weapons. So a player with 90% hit rate vs a player with 10% dodge means only 80% chance for your throwing weapons to hit.
Throwing Skill adds in a vital hit chance where a thrown weapon hits a vital spot. Regular players have 5% vital hit chance with Max throwing skill
Vital hit would add damage equal to one extra thrown weapon of the same time. vital strike with 3 senbons would deal damage equal to 4 senbons.
Throwing Skill Affects how many weapons can be thrown at once. Regular players with max throwing skill will be able to throw 3 weapons at once.
Btw, speed no longer exists as a stat.

I'm guessing certain clans may get an accuracy adjustment when using their jutsus? Seeing as a few clans canonly have ways to make themselves better with tools (A certain eyeball user in particular). Also with no speed stat, I wonder how dodge will work.

good to see throwing balanced and i like how dodge rate helps with avoiding throwers. BTW i was wondering.. if we will be able to territorialize the map. As in have one player/village take over the map and force other players to spawn at missing area .

No comment on that yet Kurei HiitakaAlso @zezu, I'm actually working on the idea of making it so ppl can fight for their own base. No promises though as it's still something in the "Idea Phase"
